Renee Cohen (Emcee) This marks Renee’s third show with Nocturne! Kayla Fast (Sally Bowles) Kayla is honored to step into the role of Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" for her debut at Nocturne Theatre! With credits including Wendla in "Spring Awakening" and Inga in "Young Frankenstein," she's thrilled to return to the stage after a five-year hiatus and vows never to stay away that long again. Connor Bullock (Clifford Bradshaw) Connor is honored to finally play Cliff, one of his biggest dream roles! Previous credits include Princeton/Rod in Avenue Q (the Hollywood Majestic) Dennis Reynolds in The Nightman Cometh (Patrynize/New York) and Fred/Fence in Madame Scrooge (here!). Laurent Ziliani (Ernst Ludwig) is making his Nocturne Theatre debut in Cabaret. Other recent roles include Judas in Godspell and Motel in Fiddler on the Roof. Laurent is also a composer and his music can be heard in various shows and video games.

Caitlin McCormick (Fraulein Schnedier) is thrilled to make her Nocturne Theatre debut as Fraulein Schneider! Hailed as the “Margo Martindale of her generation,” Caitlin is making her mark as an actress, singer, comedian, and content creator. Career highlights include playing Miss Lark in Mary Poppins, Natalya in Chekhov’s The Proposal, a Weird Sister in Macbeth, and Viewpoints training with actress and activist Alexandra Billings. All love and gratitude to her supportive friends and family, as well as the incredible cast, crew, and creative team of Cabaret. J.D. Wallis (Herr Schultz) is happy to make his Nocturne debut as Herr Schultz. Jett LaFever (Fraulein Kost/Fritzie) As a lover of horror and all things creepy, Jett is beyond excited to debut her first performance with The Nocturne Theater. With such credits as Audrey in Little Shop ( MWT), Eva Peron in Evita (SCT), Sherrie in Rock of Ages (PAP) Maureen in Rent( SAP/ SCP) and many more. Madison Mi Hwa Oliver (Lulu) was born in AZ, raised in CA and is a professional performing artist currently based in LA. Previously, she has worked nationally and internationally with Nevada Ballet Theatre, Spectrum Dance Theater, Can Can Culinary Cabaret and Seattle Opera. 

You can find her living out her dream of riding the wave to becoming the most versatile artist she can be and wringing the most out of this life she have been gifted! So, thank YOU for being a part of this adventure with her and hope you enjoy the show! @madisonoliverrr

Sarah Louise (Frenchie) is beyond thrilled to return to the Nocturne Theatre as a professional dancer! She’s been an original cast member of House of Spirits: a Haunted Cocktail Soirée since its inception in 2019, and can be found entertaining LA audiences with her burlesque and theatre company, Liquid Gold Productions, now celebrating its third year in operation. She’d like to thank the cast for being so welcoming and supportive, the Meyers for everything, and her closest friends and family for all of their love. Rachel Fictum (Rosie) is thrilled to be making her musical theatre debut with The Nocturne Theatre! Rachel is a dancer, aerialist and aerial bartender with experience in aerial hammock, lyra, and lollipop lyra. Recently, she has been performing with Elevation Aerial Dance and Rock Circus. She would like to thank Lisa Marie Burnside, her friends and family and her partner Adam for their unwavering support and love. Wilkomen!!

Capone Walker (Texas) This is Capone’s first production at Nocturne Theatre. He most recently appeared in RENT at Long Beach Playhouse. His theatrical credits include: In the Heights, Beauty & the Beast , HAIR,  Midsummer Night's Dream, Legally Blonde,The Seagull, Romeo & Juliet, &  many more! Michalis Schinas (Bobby) is ecstatic to continue his journey at the Nocturne theatre to perform as Bobby, assist in choreography and be a dance captain for the production of “Cabaret”. Jordan Iosua Taylor (Victor) wants to thank you for coming to see and support The Nocturne Theatre's production of Cabaret! This is his second show with the company and is grateful for the opportunity to grow and gain experience in this crazy-exciting business. New to Los Angeles, he spent many years in Seattle working consistently doing mostly musical theatre and then taking a turn to theatrical burlesque where he was also has a presence on the creative team as a writer/collaborator. Jewell Valentin (Herman/Max) originally from Greenville, South Carolina is excited to go to Germany! As a graduate of AMDA, he has performed in many theatrical productions including The Producers at Celebration Theatre (Leo Bloom), the Southern California tour of Charlottes Web(Templeton the Rat), and the National Tour of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer(Hermey). Rodrigo Garcia (Gorilla) When he was young, he learned a magic trick from his cousin, that escalated into teaching himself every card trick he could find. Moving to Los Angeles, Rodrigo wanted to try everything, dancing, singing, acting, and one audition at a haunted event led to the scare industry. He scared people in hayrides, haunted houses, and even hidden camera prank shows, which opened opportunities to perform magic. Working for live theater naturally became the next step, and he's been at the Nocturne Theatre ever since, helping in costumes, ushering the lobby, or learning to ride the unicycle. Say yes to life.

Eddie Bonilla (Tuba, Trombone) is a Los Angeles/Harbor Area based Freelance Musician and Educator. Specializing in Tuba and Trombone, Bonilla is currently attending California State University, Fullerton working towards a degree in Music Performance and Education. In his free time, Bonilla enjoys music production and composition, photography, spontaneous exploring/traveling and the art of “hanging out”.

 

Eddy Barco (drums) is a multi-talented percussionist and drummer, infusing rhythm into every aspect of his life. As the founder of the Nebula Music Podcast, he orchestrates insightful conversations with renowned musicians, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into their creative processes. Beyond the beats, Eddy brings his talents to the virtual battlefield, contributing his expertise to the immersive world of Call of Duty. His creative prowess transcends traditional boundaries, enriching both the gaming and music industries with his unique flair. On Instagram, where he shares snippets of his musical journey and personal insights, fans can connect with him as @eddybarcodrums, witnessing firsthand the harmonious fusion of passion and skill that defines his artistry. Whether on stage, behind the mic, or in the gaming realm, Eddy Barco's rhythmic and creative genius leaves an indelible mark on every endeavor he undertakes.

JP Mora (Alto Sax, Clarinet, Flite, Trumpet) As a musician focused on expertise in woodwind instruments, Jean-Pierre found his love for the saxophone at Glendora High School and for clarinet and flute while attending Azusa Pacific University. He received his Bachelors’ in Music Education at APU in May of 2021, where he is now also pursuing his Master’s in Conducting as well under the tutelage of Dr. John Burdett. As a music instructor, Jean-Pierre has also been involved and employed by many school districts in the Southern California area, such as Duarte Unified, Chino Hills Unified, Glendora Unified and Whittier Unified, directing anything from wind ensemble to jazz ensemble as well as coaching for woodwind section members. The art of teaching music has been at the forefront of Jean-Pierre’s career aspirations since having graduated high school. He has been exposed to many opportunities to strengthen his leadership skills and teaching experience, whether it be through private instruction or in a classroom setting. These experiences all compliment his preparation for continuing his higher education towards a doctoral degree in music education. Jean-Pierre aims to become a university professor of music, where he can not only continue to teach but also expand on his life passion: to share his love for music with those around him.

Who's Who Crew

Melissa Meyer (Choreographer) has been working with her husband Justin for the past few years to establish and manage their immersive theatrical company, Meyer2Meyer Entertainment. Together, they have had the privilege of working on immersive projects for big names such as Fortnite, Amazon, Netflix, Warner Brothers, and their own shows House of Spirits, Kaleidoscope Experience, and the Bite LA. Before her current role, Melissa was a professional dancer and performed for various regional theatres and cruise ships. She is excited to take a break from her laptop and miles of spreadsheets to pull out her dancing shoes and help bring this musical to life!

Tanya Cyr (Costume Designer) studied under various designers before landing at Meyer2Meyer Entertainment, at the company's inception.  She works year round on all their shows, designing everything from Creature Suits to Costumes.  She is originally from Santa Barbara and wishes to thank her family, especially her father, mother, her brothers and her newly extending family, for their constant support of her artistic adventures!

Matt Merline (Sound Designer) Matt has sound designed for many productions, including The Nocturne Theatre's recent productions of Into The Woods and Jekyll & Hyde.

Micah Delhauer (Stage Manager) is a local playwright and filmmaker. He is a graduate of the Los Angeles Film School, and a winner of the Best Feature Screenplay award from Screamfest. Seth Logan (Scenic Builder) is thrilled to be at it again for The Nocturne Theatre.  Recently, he made his scenic debut with the Nocturne Theatre’s production of Madame Scrooge. Born right here in Glendale, he relocated to Colorado at a young age and found joy in the outdoors as an avid hiker and snowboarder. Seth bartends and cooks professionally and has previously worked with Meyer2Meyer at Haunted Soiree in New York City. Seth would like to thank those who have loved him into being: his family, his friends and his teachers.

 

Kyle Sword (Nocturne Theatre Technician) is from Valencia, CA.  He is a retired Deputy and married father of three awesome kids.  He met the Meyer’s while working with them at The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride and has been working for Meyer2Meyer Entertainment as Head Technician since 2016, working on The Bite LA, House of Spirits, Haunted Soiree, Madame Scrooge and many other projects.
